These terms explain the free prototype and the paid service that begins only if you decide to proceed. Booking a call or receiving a prototype does not require payment.
Your free prototype
After the intro call, Refit creates a website prototype and delivers it within one day. The prototype is free. It is a preview of the proposed website, not a live website, and you do not have to buy it.
If you decide to proceed
The paid service is $89 per month, billed yearly ($1,068). The full annual amount is charged when you choose to proceed. There is no separate setup fee, design fee, or build fee.
Payment starts a 7-day edit period. During those 7 days, you may make unlimited requests to change the design and content included in the agreed website. The website launches after you approve it.
What the subscription includes
The subscription includes website hosting, security, maintenance, and monthly content edits. Normal updates such as changing text, photos, services, prices, and offers are included. Major redesigns, new functionality, custom integrations, and other work outside the agreed website are priced separately and require your approval before work begins.
Renewal, cancellation, and refunds
The subscription renews yearly. You may cancel at any time to stop the next annual charge. Cancellation does not refund the current annual period, in full or in part, and the paid service continues until that period ends.
Your website is yours
Your domain and the business content you provide remain yours. If the subscription ends, Refit will provide the website files so you can host the site elsewhere. Refit hosting, maintenance, and edits end when the paid subscription period ends.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information published on your website and for having the right to use the names, text, images, trademarks, and other materials you provide. You must review and approve the website before launch.
No revenue guarantee
Refit designs websites to help visitors understand your business and contact you. Refit does not guarantee a particular number of calls, leads, bookings, customers, or sales.
Refusing or ending service
Refit may refuse a project or end service if a website is illegal, deceptive, abusive, unsafe, or infringes another person's rights. Refit may also act to protect the security and availability of its systems and other customers.
